Aéromodélisme.

L’aéromodélisme est un sujet trop vaste pour que j’en fasse le tour.

Ainsi, je ne vais vous présenter que quelques une des facettes de la discipline, en partant du plus simple pour aller vers le plus raffiné… Mon but est donc d’éclairer un peu cette manière de voler, qui peut être parfois très peu cher, mais ou comme pour tout, il n’y à pas de limite à la dépense…

Tout d’abord, à la base de l’aéromodélisme, quelque chose que tout le monde connait bien… Le pliage d’avion en papier!

D’une certaine manière, c’est déjà de l’aéromodélisme, et des championnats du monde sont même organisés!

A défaut de vous fournir les plans de l’avion champion du monde, voici la marche à suivre pour plier un avion qui vole très bien:

Munissez-vous d’une feuille de papier format standard (A4 ou A3 par exemple), et pliez là dans le sens de la longueur afin de marquer le pli.
Une fois fait, cornez les deux coins supérieurs de façon symétrique (voir schéma1, pliage 1). Rabattez la flèche ainsi obtenue sur le reste (voir schéma1, pliage 2).

Une fois fait, refaites une flèche, mais cette fois, faites la en « cassant » un peu l’extrémité (Schéma 2, pliage 1). Le bout des deux pans doivent se toucher sur le point 2. Afin de les bloquer, rabattez le bout de la première flèche vers l’avant (voir schéma 2, pliage 3).

L’avion est désormais presque fini. Il ne reste plus qu’à le replier sur son axe de symétrie (voir schéma 3, pliage 1), puis de plier les ailes symétriquement (voir schéma 3, pliage 2), et enfin, d’ajouter le stabilisateur (voir schéma 3, pliage 3).

Si ce que vous avez ressemble à la photo ci-dessous, amusez vous à le lancer doucement, en visant à environs 45° vers le haut. Le vol est lent, stable, et long…

The aircraft is now almost finished. You have only to fall back on its axis of symmetry (see Schema 3, fold 1), then to fold the wings symmetrically (see Schema 3, folding 2), and finally adding the stabilizer (see Schema 3, folding 3).
